Welcome to FoodRX Clinical, a service provided by Hawaii Nutrition Services LLC, doing business as Food RX Blueprint. FoodRX Clinical is a clinician-facing, AI-powered nutrition decision-support application designed for licensed healthcare providers including physicians, dietitians, nurses, and other qualified clinical professionals.

By accessing or using FoodRX Clinical, you confirm that you are a licensed or credentialed healthcare provider and agree to the following Terms of Service. If you do not meet this requirement or do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Professional Use Only

FoodRX Clinical is intended exclusively for use by licensed healthcare professionals. Access is granted based on verification of a valid National Provider Identifier (NPI) number. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are a licensed or credentialed healthcare provider in good standing, that the NPI number you provide is accurate and belongs to you, that you will use the app solely in connection with your professional clinical activities, and that you will not share your account credentials with unauthorized individuals.

3. Clinical Decision Support Disclaimer

FoodRX Clinical provides evidence-based nutrition information and AI-generated clinical guidance as decision support tools only. All content, including protocol recommendations, supplement information, patient handouts, and AI-generated responses, is intended to supplement, not replace, your independent clinical judgment. FoodRX Clinical does not provide medical diagnoses, prescriptions, or direct patient care. You, as the licensed provider, are solely responsible for all clinical decisions made in connection with your patients. Hawaii Nutrition Services LLC, doing business as Food RX Blueprint, assumes no liability for clinical outcomes resulting from the use of information provided by this application.

4. NPI Verification and Account Security

Account creation requires a valid NPI number, which is verified against the CMS National Provider Identifier Registry. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Please notify us immediately at info@foodrxblueprint.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. Patient Handouts and AI-Generated Content

FoodRX Clinical enables providers to generate customized patient education materials using AI technology powered by Anthropic Claude. These materials are intended for provider review before distribution to patients. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content for accuracy and clinical appropriateness before use in patient care. Hawaii Nutrition Services LLC, doing business as Food RX Blueprint, does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.

6. Privacy and HIPAA

FoodRX Clinical does not store protected health information (PHI) as defined by HIPAA. Providers are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of the app complies with applicable federal and state privacy laws, including HIPAA, when incorporating the app into their clinical workflow. Do not enter identifiable patient information into the app.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, protocols, AI prompt structures, and application design elements within FoodRX Clinical are the intellectual property of Hawaii Nutrition Services LLC, doing business as Food RX Blueprint. You may use the app and its outputs for legitimate clinical purposes but may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercialize app content without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Hawaii Nutrition Services LLC, doing business as Food RX Blueprint, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or reliance on FoodRX Clinical. All content is provided on an as-is basis without warranties of any kind, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular clinical purpose.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via the app or email.

10. Subscriptions and Payments

FoodRX Clinical is currently available as a free application supported by advertising. A premium AI-powered tier may be offered in the future. Any future subscription plans will be billed through your Apple ID account. Hawaii Nutrition Services LLC, doing business as Food RX Blueprint, does not process or store payment information.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, United States. Any disputes arising from use of the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Hawaii County.

PRIVACY POLICY

1. Overview

Hawaii Nutrition Services LLC, doing business as Food RX Blueprint, operates FoodRX Clinical, a clinician-facing nutrition decision-support application. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with your use of the app. By using FoodRX Clinical, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your full name, email address, profession and clinical role, National Provider Identifier (NPI) number, and account creation date. We do not collect, store, or process any patient health information or protected health information (PHI) as defined by HIPAA.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to verify your identity as a licensed healthcare provider via the CMS NPI Registry, create and manage your account, provide access to clinical nutrition protocols and AI-assisted features, and communicate with you regarding app updates, support, and service changes. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. NPI Verification

Your NPI number is verified against the publicly available CMS National Provider Identifier Registry at the time of account creation. This verification is used solely to confirm your status as a licensed healthcare provider. Your NPI number is stored in your account profile and is not shared with third parties.

5. AI-Generated Content

FoodRX Clinical uses Anthropic Claude to generate clinical decision support content and patient education materials. Queries submitted to the AI engine include condition-specific clinical context from our knowledge base. We do not transmit any patient-identifiable information to AI services. Please do not enter patient names, dates of birth, or other identifying information into any field within the app.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to support app functionality: Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore (Google) for secure account login and data storage, the Anthropic Claude API for AI-generated clinical content and patient handouts, and Firebase Storage for storing generated PDF patient handouts. Each provider operates under their own privacy policies. We do not permit these providers to use your data for their own marketing purposes.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including Firebase Authentication, Firestore security rules, and encrypted data transmission to protect your account information. Access to your Firestore data is restricted to your authenticated account only.

8. Data Retention

Your account information is retained for as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at info@foodrxblueprint.com. Upon deletion, your personal information will be removed from our active systems within 30 days.

9. HIPAA Notice

FoodRX Clinical is a clinical decision support tool and does not function as a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA. The app does not store, transmit, or process protected health information (PHI). Providers are solely responsible for ensuring their use of the app complies with applicable HIPAA obligations in their clinical practice.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at info@foodrxblueprint.com. You may also update your profile information directly within the app settings.

11. Children's Privacy

FoodRX Clinical is intended exclusively for licensed healthcare professionals and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app following notice of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
